Refund & Cancellation Policy

The plain-English version of how money moves at briefingbites.

The 14-day guarantee

If briefingbites isn’t right for your firm, email support@briefingbites.com within 14 days of your first charge and we’ll refund that charge in full — no forms, no argument. This applies to your first billing cycle on your first subscription (monthly or annual). Refunds are processed manually by a human and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days.

Cancelling

• Cancel any time from Billing → Manage subscription in your portal (our payment provider’s customer portal).
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period. No further issues are produced after that, and you are not charged again.
• Your issue archive stays available for download for 90 days after cancellation. The license to distribute issues already delivered to you is perpetual — it survives cancellation.

Outside the guarantee window

After the first 14 days, charges are generally non-refundable, but if something went wrong on our side — a missed issue, a billing error — email us and we’ll make it right, with a credit or refund at our discretion.

Plan changes

Upgrades and downgrades are prorated automatically by our payment provider. Cadence changes take effect from your next billing-aligned issue.
